18 April 2018 – Entrepreneurs from the region are coming together to help Justin, including Les Entreprises médicales de l’Outaouais.
” The Perron-Charron family lives in Buckingham with their 11 years old son and their 6 years old daughter. For the past 4 years, they’ve been living in a mobile home declared unhealthy. Justin was born severely handicapped and need care 24 hours a day from his mother, non-stop. Having only one income and high medical bills put the family in bankruptcy and prevented them from performing the necessary renovations. Their home is now in a precarious situation and represents an imminent risk of fire. The boy’s epileptic seizures increases, probably due to mold. In addition, his wheelchair does not fit into the main hallway, and the mother is no longer able to lift Justin to bring him to his room or bathroom. Together, we want to give this family a better quality of life, and allow them to fully enjoy the remaining years of Justin, whose life expectancy is 25 years.”

Last May, les Entreprises médicales de l’Outaouais were proud sponsors of a charity BBQ held to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
Their implication allowed the event to achieve its goal. With a tasty BBQ on a sunny day all clients and organisers had a great time. We were even told the hot dogs were delicious.
October 23 2015, les Entreprises médicales de l’Outaouais mobilized their employees in order to raise a workplace donation for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
With help from the Foundation, employees organised a Dress for the Cause day.For this day, employees wore pink paper bras over their clothing. Yes. Even the men! Clients found the activity amusing and encouraged them to donate to the cause.
The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation offers donation kits that contain information, resources, fun ideas for fund raising. If you wish to get involved with the Foundation, visit their website http://www.cbcf.org/ and gather your family, friends and colleagues.
In partnership with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, La Vie en Rose offers 1$/bra donated during the Osez le donner event.
For the fourth consecutive year, a les EMO employee has been responsible for the campaign. A donation box was placed in the store where people could deposit their bras to give away.
1719 bras were collected for a total donation of $1719.
A nice gesture for a great cause.
